She was predeceased by: her parents, Elda Lehneke and Arthur Lehneke; and her siblings, Judy Randolph, Janet Artman, Ken Lehneke and William.

She is survived by: her husband Charles Schmittle; her children, Michael Schmittle, Tina Schmittle, Sandy Schmittle and Debbie Bolette (Dave); her grandchildren, Breonna Smith, Jeremy Bolette, Troy Bolette and Evan Bolette (Sierra Cantara); and her great grandchild Evelynn Bolette.
