He was predeceased by: his parents, John O. McLaughlin and Anna Mae McLaughlin (O'Barto); and his brother William "Bill" McLaughlin. He is survived by: his daughters, Kayla and Madeline McLaughlin; his grandchildren, Ella, Jullian and Jude; his wife Diane McCaskie; and his siblings, John McLaughlin (Gerry) and Jacqueline Shellaby. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
