He was predeceased by: his siblings, Ed, Buddy Winwood, June Dyer, Tom and Jean Shroup.

He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Winwood (Waibel); his children, Becky Ryan (James) of Level Green and Howard Winwood (Daniela) of Turtle Creek; his grandsons, Jacob and Lucas Ryan; and his siblings, Rene Steban (Stan), Diane Sanders (Fred) and Randy Winwood (Cathy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
