He is survived by: his spouse Barbara "Bunny" Friez (Ayres); his children, Kimberly Ann Friez and Charles R. Friez, Jr.; his stepchildren, Melissa Tea (Chip) of Shadyside, Allan Ferragonio (Amy) and John Ferragonio (Adina); his grandchildren, Janaya Friez, Chaz Friez, Charlie Tea, Emily Tea, Gina Ferragonio, Emily Layne, Luca Ferragonio and Cora Ferragonio; his siblings, Russell Friez (late Mary Ruth), Alice Matheys (Wayne), Paul Friez (Carol), Fred Friez (Norma), David Friez (Marsha) and Cheryl Bridge (Tim); and also, Bill Ayres and Carmella Ayres. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
