He was predeceased by: his parents, Atwood Ashenfelder and Cora Marie Ashenfelder (Renner); and his siblings, Allen, Lee, Brice, Paul, Edsel, Marvin, Robert Ashenfelder, Elinor Ashenfelder and Marian Croman.
He is survived by: his wife Jane E. Ulrich.
