He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold H. Prentiss and Dorothy Prentiss (Nevius); his great grandchild Isabella Kershner-Rowan; and his brothers, Ronald "Butch" Hankins and Kenneth Whalen.
He is survived by: his wife Rita Kaminski; his children, Harold "Harry" Prentiss of Sunbury, Marie Heimbach of Milton and Eileen Povish of Turbotville; his siblings, Charles Prentiss of Coal Township, Steven Prentiss of Flagstaff, AZ, William Prentiss of Williamsburg, VA and Bonnie Naugle of Raleigh, NC; and his stepmother Betty Prentiss of Raleigh, NC.. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren.
