He is survived by: his wife Else Stevens-Carter; his sons, Joshua (Amber) of Tunkhannock and John (Jennifer) of Glen Allen, VA; his grandchildren, Andrew, Jayden Sayles (Joshua) and Emily Stales (John); and his sister-in-law Maxine Stevens-Smales. He is also survived by his children and grandchildren.
