He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Stamatis and Katherine Hoffman Stamatis; his daughter Cassandra Stamatis; and his brother Gregory Stamatis. He is survived by: his wife Barbara McNiff; and his children, Sydney Stamatis of Jonesboro, AR, Jake Stamatis of Memphis, TN and Jeffrey Stamatis of Tunkhannock.
