He is survived by: his wife Teresa Strizalkowski Balendy; his daughters, Michelle Schick and Domini Murphy; and his siblings, Andrew, Paul, Bernie, Charlie, Marlene, Jean and Elizabeth. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
