Mary Tahtinen Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 19, 2023, at the age of 87, Mary Tahtinen (Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania), born in Ontonagon, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Jalmer Laingren and Lily Laingren; her husband Raymond; her daughter Terri (Ignatius) of Arizona; her grandsons, Jason and Brendan; her daughter Sherri (J. P.) of Massachusetts; her brother Jalmer; her son Brian; and also Hilda. She was also cherished by friends and family and enjoyed her grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Mary's name may be sent to the Ronald McDonald House of Scranton.
