With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Ellen Walsh of Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 10, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Mary Ellen may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Mary Ellen touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Hanlon and Margaret Hanlon (McGrath). She is survived by: her husband Lewis J. Walsh of Blakeslee, PA; her children, Kevin Walsh (Renata) of Blakeslee, PA and Maureen Walsh (Jason) of St. Augustine, FL.; and her granddaughters, Gabriela of Blakeslee, PA., Molly of Blakeslee, PA. and Julia Walsh of Blakeslee, PA..
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Gower Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. (1426 US-209, Gilbert, PA 18331). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady Queen of Peace Church (1402 US-209, Brodheadsville, PA 18322).
