She was predeceased by: her husband Howard Weitz, Sr.; her parents, Frank Korf and Mary Korf (Ostrowski); her son Donald Weitz, Sr.; and her sister Loretta Haddick.
She is survived by: her son Howard Weitz, Jr. (Mary Ann); and her grandchildren, Michael, Brian, Donald, Jr., David and Vanessa. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandson; many nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home, Inc. (73 W Tioga St, Tunkhannock, PA 18657). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church (99 E Tioga St, Tunkhannock, PA 18657). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Sunnyside Cemetery (152 Sunnyside Rd, Tunkhannock, PA 18657).
