With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gilbert Lawrence (Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 20, 2025 at the age of 74. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gilbert Lawrence to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Lawrence and Jean Lawrence; and his siblings, Keith (Kitty) of Honesdale, PA and Gayle Worley. He is survived by: his wife Connie Lawrence (Rutledge); his sons, Derek (Bobbie), Brad (Jenelle) and Justin (Desiree); his grandchildren, Lynda, Kelsey, Aquinniah, Willow, Devin, Beau and Parker; and his siblings, Wayne (Linda) of Colmar, PA, Stanley (Linda) of Damascus, PA, Ronald (Terry) of Beach Lake, PA, Wendall (Bonnie) of Severn, MD, Cheryl Thomas of Roscoe, NY, Daryl (Ed Carpenter) and Linnette (Steve Moser).
Viewing will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bridge Water Church (2 Church St, Tunkhannock, PA 18657). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Lynn Cemetery (2099 Lynn Cemetery Rd, Springville, PA 18844).
