He was predeceased by: his parents, Ada Harris and Damon Davenport; his sisters, Virginia Wendt, Eva Van Ostrand and Audrey Strosahl; and his children, Robin Cooper and Daryl Davenport.
He is survived by: his wife Anastasia Fleury Davenport; and his children, Dana Clark (David) of Mill City and Lonnie Hanicak (David) of Hamlin. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and 3 great–great grandchildren.
