We bid farewell to Carol Franko of Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 24, 2024 at the age of 84. Carol touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Adam Romanoski and Bertha Romanoski (Podmenik); her son Peter Franko, Jr.; and her siblings, Edward Romanoski and Eleanor Andruzis.
She is survived by: her husband Peter Franko, Sr.; her daughters, Lori Vermeulen (Leonard) and Michelle Franko (Tom Pugh); her daughter-in-law Gail Franko; her grandchildren, Angela Franko, Peter Franko, III (Danielle), Jessica Vermeulen Hagnauer (Matthew), Paige Vermeulen, Chris Vermeulen and Michael Skumanick; and her great grandchildren, Jacob Franko, Hailey Franko, Lily Franko and Magdalena Hagnauer.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church (99 E Tioga St, Tunkhannock, PA 18657).
