He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Ransom and Joan Carpenter (Layaou); his stepfather John Carpenter; and his sister Carol Ransom. He is survived by: his wife Elisabeth "Lissy" Ransom (Pfundt); his children, Melissa Ransom (Jack Sershen) and Eric Ransom (Jeanele); his siblings, Richard Ransom (Paula), Brad Ransom, Brenda Lanham (Archie) and Renee Hunsinger (Jim); and his granddaughters, Ophelia, Nova, Hannah and Laurel. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Brent's memory to the American Cancer Society AstraZeneca Hope Lodge, 110 W. Laurel Ave., Cheltenham, PA 19012.
