It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Barbara Scott Harvey of Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania, born in Hop Bottom, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 27, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Scott and Dorothy Scott (Carpenter); her husband James Harvey, Sr.; her son David Harvey; her son-in-law Craig McCarty; and her siblings, Donald Scott, Larry Scott, Rosalyn Scott, Nancy Barnes, Lois, Sicher and Linda Valashinas.
She is survived by: her children, James Jr. Harvey (Diane) of Lake Winola, Cindy McCarty of Tunkhannock and Shirley Richter (David) of Springville; her children-in-law, Vanessa Harvey of Pleasant Garden, N. C. and Randy Bird of Tunkhannock; her grandchildren, Amanda, Ian Haygood of Fort Collins, CO, James Reese of Nashville, TN, Rebecca, Matthew Blaisure of Dimock, Hillary Bird of Tunkhannock, Cody Bird of Tunkhannock, Garrett Harvey (Meghan Ramos) of Pottstown, PA, Eric Sicher of Seattle, WA, Jeremy Kacuba of Boston, MA, Breea and Ken Bush of Castle Rock, CO.; her great grandchildren, Esmé, Bryn, Davis, Luke, Abigail, Amelia, Shea, Paisley, Perryn, Cole, Payton and Brock; her siblings, William Scott of Texas, James Scott of Florida, Shirley Bensley of Forest City, Marilyn Kilmer (Cecil) of Nicholson and Joan Roberts (Jerry) of Montrose; and her granddaughter Becca. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
