He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Affeldt and Florence Affeldt; his nephew Tyler Affeldt; and his brother-in-law David Schuler. He is survived by: his siblings, Karen Schuler and Michael Affeldt (Gina); his niece Stephanie Schuler (Zachary McCartney); his nephews, Stephen Schuler (Nerlande), Bryan Affeldt (Ashley) and Daniel Affeldt; his great-niece Kailee Schuler; and his great-nephew Karter Schuler. He is also survived by his aunt, many cousins.
