He was predeceased by: his parents, Abel Gerhart and Helen Gerhart (Levy); and his siblings-in-law, Vivian, Patricia Gerhart and Barry Leidy.
He is survived by: his wife Pamela Gerhart (McKelvey); his children, Kelly Luby (William) and Traylor Gerhart (Julie); his siblings, Nelson, Ray, Douglas, Steven (Carole), Darwin Gerhart (Evelyn) and JoAnne Leidy; and his grandchildren, Adam, Amber Luby, Kirsten and Alec Gerhart. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
