Matthew Jude Krebs Obituary

TRUCKSVILLE — Matthew Jude Krebs, of Trucksville, unexpectedly passed away on Monday, June 11, 2018, at his home. He was born in Wilkes-Barre, the son of the late William and Sophie Roskowski Krebs. Since the age of 12, Matthew had a love for classic muscle cars due to the influence of his beloved Uncle Ricky and "Hooksey" from Harry and Jack's Garage.

This passion continued throughout his entire life with frequent visits to car shows and devoting countless hours in his own garage to his cars. Matt was always willing to share his infinite knowledge and experience with others. Because of his giving nature and kindheartedness, he was loved by all. He attended GAR Memorial High School.

For the last 20 years, he was employed as a manager for Quality Collision. Surviving are his wife, Jenifer Kehoe Krebs; daughters Stephanie Chesnalavage, of Shavertown, and Alexandria Krebs, of Trucksville; brother Mark Krebs, of Old Forge; sister Leanne Jude Pecukonis and her husband, Eric, of Hanover Township; and nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Matthew's life will be held 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, June 16, 2018, at the Nat & Gawlas Funeral Home, 89 Park Ave., Wilkes-Barre.
