He was predeceased by: his parents, Sherm Butler and Freida Butler (Dick); his wife Mary Wilcox; his daughters, Catherine McMahon and Brenda McMahon; and his brother James Butler.
He is survived by: his children, Sherman Jr. Dick (Sharon) of Troy, Belinda Dick of Glassco, Gerald Dick and Robert Dick of Troy; his brother Richard Butler (Liz) of Trout Run; and his caregiver Lois Raymond. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins.
