He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert E. Crane and Jean Crane (Baxter); his sister Janet Packard; and his sisters-in-law, Betty Crane and Patricia Recard.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Spaulding; and his children, Randy Crane (Penny) of Millerton, Sallie Lynn (Dave) of Ridgebury, Sue Crane of Horseheads and Mike Crane (Shareen) of Troy. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and four step-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
