It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Lee Slingerland of Troy, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 6, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Sr. Slingerland and Mildred Slingerland (Merritt); his wife Barbara Laudenslager; and his grandson Robby L. Slingerland. He is survived by: his children, Judy Streby (Jeff) of Troy, Ronny Slingerland (Linda Garrison) and Shelva Baldwin (Daniel Rea) of Pittsburgh; his grandchildren, Mandy Manley (Sierra Moyer), Tammy Ramos (George), Jackie Eichenberger (Brett), Eric Simcoe, Cassie Slingerland (Scott Payne), Julie Hamberger (Keenan), Jay Baldwin (Bryanna Zurn) and Miranda Baldwin; and his siblings, Joann Zacharias of Granville Summit, Raymond Slingerland (Dee) of Milton, FL and Rudy Slingerland (Ellen) of State College. He is also survived by several brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews and cousins.
