It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Lee Atwell of Troy, Pennsylvania, born in Westfield, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 1, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Atwell, Jr. and Edna Atwell (Brown); and his wife Vallie Atwell. He is survived by: his siblings, Daniel Atwell (Guangyu) of Westfield, PA and Janice Brooks of Westfield, PA; his nieces and nephews, Aaron Atwell, Adam Atwell, Alex Atwell, Tylor Cochra, Angela Dunlap, Karie Price, Shawn Lapp and Paisley Neidig; and his pet Bridget.
Memorial donations may be made in Richard's name to the Second Chance Animal Shelter, 725 Gee Hollow Rd., Tioga, PA, 16946.
