He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Luther Johnson and Iva LaPoint (Reed); and his siblings, Charles Johnson, Ronald "Wayne" Johnson, Harold Johnson, Ralph Johnson, Roger Johnson, Florence Mick and Rosina Farrell.
He is survived by: his wife Lillian; his children, Stephen Johnson (Denise) of Fryburg, PA and Joy Tillery of Troy; his grandchildren, Kristopher Tillery, Kelsey Tillery, Michael Johnson and Ashlea Johnson; his great grandchild Christina; and his sister Ruth Short.
