He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Bown and Beula Bown (McCarty); and his siblings, Donald, Dallas Bown and Irene Harvey.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanette E. Bown (Magee); his daughters, Sandra Cronk of Troy, PA and Diane Palmer (Crist) of Canton, PA; and his grandchildren, Richard Campbell (Wean), Jason Campbell (Michelle), Jeramiah Campbell (Jenna), Rebecca Machinski (Andrew), Rachel Bond (Josh), Nathan Palmer (Raelynne), Nicholas Palmer (Nikki) and Heather Palmer (Chad Chamberlain). He is also survived by 20 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
