He was predeceased by: his parents, Justus Anthony and Mary Garrison (Colpetzer); his siblings, John Winner, Bill Garrison and Phyllis Sachs; and his in-laws, Howard and Edith Watkins.

He is survived by: his wife Ruth A. Garrison (Watkins); his daughters, Linda Garrison (Ronny Slingerland), Molly Garrison-Best (Dennis), Jill Garrison (Art Kocan) of Sayre, PA, Jennifer Malehorn (James) of York, PA and Kerri Garrison (Jeff Shedden) of Troy, PA.; his grandchildren, Amber Coyle (Dennis), Zachary Wetzel (Alexis Rider) and Brittany Boor (Jared); his sister Susan Garrison of Philadelphia, PA; and his close friends, Brian Canfield, Dave Jackson and Bernie Betke. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
