He is survived by: his wife Pamela S. Fierst (Whitaker); his children, Gerrid W. Fierst Jr. and Olivia J. Fierst; his aunt Barbara Callahan (Ed); and his cousins, Lia, Elizabeth, Christopher Callahan, Anna and Shana Daly.
