He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Earl Wilcox and Hattie Wilcox (Haflett); his wife Carrie Ellen Thomas; his children, Roger Wilcox (Ann Roy) of LeRoy, Yvonnne Killian (Roy) of LeRoy and Lisa Wilcox (MaryBeth Minnier) of Dushore; his grandchildren, Matthew Scott (Meredith), Curtis Scott (Jenn Eyer), Roy Killian, Jr., Missy Seip (Greg) and Lexa Roy (Alexis); his great grandchildren, Rory Scott, Archer Scott, Winston Killian and Gabriel Seip; his parents-in-law, Lela, Don Poust, Lila Thomas and Bobbee Wilcox; and his siblings, George Wilcox and Janice Wilcox. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
