He was predeceased by: his parents, George A. Sheets and Beatrice F. Sheets (Bullard); and his wife Phyllis Jean Sheets (Soderquist). He is survived by: his children, Bonnie Kerr (Mark), Richard Sheets (Kelly), Charles Sheets, Gary Sheets (Tammy), Martin Sheets, Michael Sheets, Marla Rickabaugh and Nancy Sheets (Roger Barratt); and his grandchildren, Nathan Kerr, Aaron Sheets, Maegan Sheets, Ethan Sheets, Adam Sheets, Felecia Kniffin, Justin Sheets, Tyler Sheets, Mason Rickabaugh and Morgan Barratt. He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
