She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Joslyn and Sarah Joslyn (Scott); her husband Dorance Sampson, Sr.; her son Jeffrey Sampson; and her siblings, Dick Joslyn, David Joslyn, Claude Joslyn, Velma Leonard and Shirley Buck.
She is survived by: her children, Dorance Sampson, Jr. (Anita), Alisa (Danny Stump), Angela (Brian Hawley), Amanda (Christopher Laylon), Andrea (Craig Lee), Michelle Sampson, David Sampson, Jr. (Felica), Lacey Greene, Sammy, Alisha Sampson and Sarah Maines (Richard); her granddaughters, Carolyn Magahan, Christina Magahan and Mindy Maines; her stepsons, Joshua Maines and Mark Maines (Dana Sampson); and her brothers, Frank Joslyn and Gary Joslyn. She is also survived by 27 great grandchildren, 9 great great grandchildren, sisters.
