Sonja M. Hughes Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 17, 2025, at the age of 86, Sonja M. Hughes of Trout Run, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert L. "Cy" Hughes; her parents, Kenneth J. Kreger and Berneda Kreger (Fulkerson); and her brothers, Alvin and Milton Kreger.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah K. Hughes (Carl) of Longs, SC, Beth A. English (Dwain) of Williamsport, Lesia M. Weeks (Steve) of Wellsboro, Doleen M. Hood (Dave) of Honeoye Falls, NY and William D. Persun (Kristen) of Cranesville, PA; her stepchildren, John E. Hughes (Cathy) of Durham, NC and Janet L. Hatfield of Havelock, NC; her brother Terry L. Kreger (Myra) of Arnot, PA; and her sisters-in-law, Mary Jo Kreger and JoAnn Kreger. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; and 21 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Steam Valley Bible Church (570 PA-184, Trout Run, PA 17771). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
