Wetzel Jr. of Trout Run, Pennsylvania, born in Lock Haven, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 30, 2024 at the age of 92. He was predeceased by: his parents, Palmer T. Wetzel Sr. and Edna M. Englert; his brother John E. Wetzel; his granddaughter Hadassah G. Wetzel; and his great grandchild Rachel T. Shoup.
He is survived by: his wife Sonia Celeste Faivre; his children, Joan W., Joines of Stewartstown, Penny L. Mutchler (Craig) of Jersey Shore, Kathy A. Taylor (Richard) of Sugarloaf, Steven T. Wetzel of Trout Run, Shane T. Wetzel (Sarah) of Lehighton, Shanna T. Wetzel of Trout Run, Sven T. Wetzel (Anna) of Montoursville, Shannon T., Shawnta T. Fladd (Jonathan) of Trout Run, Dr. Palmer T. Wetzel III (Esther) of Maryland and Sherilee T. Niedermyer (Mark) of Muncy; and his sisters, Ethel Paulhamus of Jersey Shore and Sarah Martz of Ohio. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
