It is with great sadness that we announce the death of LaRue Alfred Allen of Trout Run, Pennsylvania, born in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 19, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Ethel Allen (Edwards); his parents, Oscar Allen and Hattie Allen (Sult); his son Dennis Allen; his siblings, Robert Allen, Roland Allen, Eugene Allen, Beatrice Confer and Ida Kibler; and his grandchildren, Leann Hall, Nancy Bowden and Paul Schweigart.
He is survived by: his children, Edward Allen (Geri) of Selinsgrove, Michael Allen (Judy) of Hinesville, GA, Charles Allen (Carol) of Alpine, NY, Tina Hopkins (Ralph, Jr.) of Roaring Branch and Kevin Allen of Selinsgrove; his siblings, Elmer Allen (Jean) and Clarissa Ertel (John); and his grandchildren, Garrett Allen, Jesse Allen, Amanda Shull, Laura Faivre, Anthony Allen, Daniel Davis, Sarah Viera, Cody Hopkins, Jordan Hopkins and Dustin Hopkins. He is also survived by many loving great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
