James Strickland Obituary

We bid farewell to James Strickland of Trout Run, Pennsylvania, born in Winston Salem, North Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 16, 2024 at the age of 79. James touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. James Madison and Lenora Mae Strickland (Staley); and his brother Robert Madison Strickland. He is survived by: his wife Marcia; his sons, Nickolas Strickland and James Strickland; his daughter-in-law Dee Strickland; his granddaughters, Sheena Strickland and Shalea Aikey (Ryan); his sisters-in-law, Linda Strickland and Sheryl Mayo (Robert); his nephews, Robert Strickland (JoAnn), James Strickland (Neva) and Scott Mayo (Liz); and his niece Christine Turner. He is also survived by several great-nieces, great-nephews.
