She was predeceased by: her parents, Mae Rogers (McCaslin) and Charles Rogers, Sr.; her husband James Lee Vargason; her daughter Jeannie Irene; and her siblings, Herbert Rogers (Elizabeth), Charles Roger, Jr. (Mary), Stanley Rogers, Sr. (Darlene), Gary Rogers (Ann), Thelm Rogers, Letha Rogers (Ed), Idabelle Eschbach (Charles) and Charlotte Mexiel.

She is survived by: her children, Pamela Vargason and Dore Logsdon (Gary Sperle); and her brother-in-law Lewis Mexiel. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
