She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles E. Sawyer and Mary M. Sawyer (Faivre); and her brother Charles Sawyer. She is survived by: her husband George L. Pittenger, Sr.; her sons, George L. "Pete" Pittenger, Jr. (Amy) and Joshua Pittenger; her grandchildren, Jesse, Jonathan (Renae), Stephanie Renee Pittenger and Alexander Schuman; her great grandchildren, Leena and Blake Pittenger; and her brothers, Ronald Sawyer (Kathy) and John Sawyer. She is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.
