He was predeceased by: his parents, George Sheets and Amanda Sheets (Edwards); and his siblings, Emily Olson, Donna Lee Duel, George "Butch" Sheets, Alice Bay and Mary Lou Straub.
He is survived by: his wife Gail L. Sheets (Smith); his children, Charlene Easterly (Robert), Sandy Barrett (Ron) of Montoursville, Michele Morean (Donnie) of Trout Run, Scott Sheets (Bridget) of Trout Run, Beth Getgen (Bart) of Linden, Tammy Briggs (Mark) of Montoursville and Kathie Sheets; his grandchildren, Jamie Alfano (Kevin), Todd Easterly, Noah Barrett (Kelsey), Michael Morean, Ryan Morean (Bryanna), Mckenzie Morean, Rachelle Sheets, Jack Sheets, Amanda Davisson (Michael), Matthew Getgen (Nina), Cody Briggs, Richard Packer III and Patrick Nienhueser; and his siblings, Harry Sheets (Shirley), Nancy Greenaway (John) of Jersey Shore and Mike Sheets.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sanders Mortuary (821 Diamond St, Williamsport, PA 17701). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St John's-Newberry United Methodist Church (2101 Newberry St, Williamsport, PA 17701). The military honors will be held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Charlie's name to Korean War Veterans of Lycoming County, P.O. Box 3232, Williamsport, PA 17701.
