He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew G. Johnson and Lucy M. Johnson (Mattson); his former wife Alice M. Johnson (Day); his brothers, Andrew and Robert Johnson; and his children-in-law, Shuman Miller and Glenda Burgess.
He is survived by: his wife Linda J. Johnson (Bacon); and his children, Sherry M. Ault (Rick) of Loyalsock, Sue L. Peters (Steve) of South Williamsport, Charles W. Johnson of Williamsport, Carol E. Johnson of Williamsport, Jeff S. Burgess of Roaring Branch, Deanna M. Burgess of Williamsport, Tanya L. Baer (Gary) of Trout Run and Shawn M. Burgess (Heather) of Picture Rocks. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
