He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth F. Highet; and his parents, William Highet and Janet Highet (Kyle). He is survived by: his sons, David Highet (Yi-Fan Hu) of Teaneck, NJ, William D. Highet (Susan) of Allentown and Thomas Highet (Danuta) of New Smyrna Beach, FL; his brother Hugh Highet (Arlene) of Palm Coast, FL; his grandchildren, Dr. Bridget Highet (Stephen Viel), Katherine Highet, Jessi Highet, Tristan Highet and Jason Highet; and his great grandchildren, Derrick Viel and Everett Viel.
