He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph P. Dowell and Barbara J. Dowell (Lile); and his brother Ronnie Dowell. He is survived by: his wife Tammy Shaffer; his children, Donnie Wayne Jr., Chad, Jeffrey, Jimmy, Tryston, Jessica, Jeannie, Jamie and Mykenzie; his grandchildren, Landon, Izaiah, Peytin, Gracie, Cheyenne, Jessa, Jayden, Jiovanni, Juliana, Grayson, Evalani, Naleah, Ember and Jakoa; and his siblings, Joey Dowell and Sherry Ervin.
Viewing was held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Blank Funeral Home (395 State St, Sunbury, PA 17801). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 at 6:30 PM at the same location.
