He was predeceased by: his parents, William Berkheiser and Lilly Berkheiser. He is survived by: his wife Sandra L. Schell Berkheiser; his daughter Russann Newton; his grandson Scott McHenry (Sarah); his great grandchildren, Scotty and Ben McHenry; his siblings, Jean Griffiths, Carol Boyer (Donny) and Harold Berkheiser (Joan); and his sister-in-law Sonia Souder.
