He was predeceased by: his parents, William Gauntlett and Anna Carl Gauntlett; and his brother William. He is survived by: his sisters, Judy Wagner (Ernest) of Tremont and Jane Boyer (Steve) of Tremont. He is also survived by two nieces and two nephews, great nieces and nephews.
