He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincze Grabarits and Anna Grabarits (Sundheimer); and his grandchildren, Jonathan, Lindsey and Joshua.
He is survived by: his wife Rose D. Grabarits (Dischinat); his children, Michael Grabarits (Marianne), Carol Ann Thomason (Keith) and Janet Sforza (Michael); his granddaughters, Kristi and Sabrina; his stepgranddaughters, Chelsey Henson and Sarah Bachman; his sister Margaret Dergosits; his nieces, Margaret and Patricia; and his pets, Katie, Sweet, Benjamin, Molly and Rosie. He is also survived by 6 step-great-grandchildren.
