He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Peffer and Thelma Peffer (Rupert); his granddaughter Adryann Peffer; and his siblings, Warren, Nancy Peffer, Bonnie Nicodemus and Laura Ridenour.
He is survived by: his wife Judy D. Peffer (Davison); his children, Bryan Scott Peffer of Greenville, Sean Patrick Peffer of New Castle, Shannon Kristen Neral (Stephen) of Brookfield and Stacy Michelle Pearson of Mercer, Pennsylvania; his grandchildren, Jake Peffer, Joe Peffer, Devyn Shaffer, Symantha Smicik, Isaiah Peffer, Alex Peffer, Nicky Peffer, Jesse Peffer, Austin Clayton, Jonah Clayton, Abby Clayton, Emma Pearson and Luke Pearson; and his siblings, Glen Peffer (Maureen) of New Freedom, Larry Peffer (Cheryl) of Espyville, Dale Peffer (Donna) of Slippery Rock, Velma Hollerman (Phil) of Harmony and Diane Young (Dale) of New Brighton, Pennsylvania. He is also survived by his six great-grandchildren.
