With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Yurkon of Transfer, Pennsylvania, born in Sharon, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 30, 2021 at the age of 100. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of George Yurkon to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Yurkon and Anna Yurkon (Jacobson); his wife Wanda Rose Fulton; his son James R. Williams; his grandson Keith D. Pollifrone; and his siblings, John Yurkon, Alice Canady, Mary Yurkon, Anna Yurkon and Susan Yurkon.
He is survived by: his children, Patricia J. Williams Pollifrone of Erie, PA, Kathleen J. Garrett (Todd) of Transfer, PA, Barbara L. Leali of Poland, OH and Mark L. Yurkon (Kim) of Magnolia, TX; and his daughter-in-law Alice Williams of Hermitage, PA.. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
