George D. Bornes Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George D. Bornes of Transfer, Pennsylvania, born in Sharon, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 10, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Bornes and Catherine Bornes (Bateman). He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Betty" Zipay; his daughters, Tracey Bornes and Amy White Roth (Aaron); his granddaughters, Samantha Patterson (Shawn), Brooke White (Colton Pellis), Allison and Haley White; his great grandchildren, Kaitlynn, Karsyn and McKenzie Patterson; his pet Bubba; his siblings, Carolyn Bornes Jones of Glen Allen, VA, Francis Bornes (Jean) of Hermitage, John Bornes (Marilyn) of Hermitage and Michael Bornes (Maryann) of Holly Springs, NC; and his son-in-law H. William White, III.
In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Paul D. Zipay, Jr.
