It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl Leslie Rainey of Transfer, Pennsylvania, born in Indiana, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 23, 2022, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph C. Rainey Sr. and Margaret Jane Rainey (Stiffler); and his siblings, Evelyn Chesmar, Sara Addicott, Robert Rainey, Sr. and Samuel Rainey.
He is survived by: his children, Shawn Rainey, Carl Rainey Jr. of Great Mills, MD, Todd Rainey (Jessica) of Canonsburg, PA, Joe Rainey (Brookfield) and Kristy Overton (Chris) of Dormont, PA; his siblings, Connie Loughry (Dave), Jessie Crinon (Steve), Joan Maloni (Leroy), Lois Fier (Chris), Karen Bonham, Mary Todhunter (Brian), Ralph Rainey Jr., George Rainey (Geri), Fred Rainey, Kenneth Rainey (Linda), Richard Rainey (Mary), Dennis Rainey (Elaine) and Jack Rainey (Cathy); his grandchildren, Devon Rainey, Caleb Rainey, Thomas Rainey, Malin Rainey, Emma Rainey, Abby Rainey, Hank Rainey, Kimara Davis and Takwon Davis; and his great grandchild Faith Rainey.
