He was predeceased by: his parents, Thurmon Peterson and Mabel S. Peterson (Craig); his sons, Christopher A. Peterson, Alvin L. "Buddy" Peterson, Jr. and Richard L. Peterson; and his brothers, Paul Peterson, Eugene Peterson and Ralph Peterson.
He is survived by: his wife Rose Mary; his brother Walter Peterson (Marion); his granddaughters, Jessica Peterson and Kristen Peterson; and his great grandchild Ryan.
