He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Louise Whitney; his children, Angela Burke, Dale Whitney and Scott Whitney (Sara); his grandchildren, Cameron Nesky, Whitney Burke, Joey Burke, Jordan Whitney, Cooper Whitney and Maddy Whitney; his great grandchild Carter Nesky; and his brothers, John Whitney (Joann) and Ronald Whitney (Susan).
